11th hour update

I realized after sending out the Christmas Letter directing people to the blog that I haven't updated it in months. So here we go--

Steve's landscape lighting, practically stolen from a Habitat ReStore. These little square lanterns are all around the house at the walkways.

In the process of putting up the suspended ceiling in the kitchen. This really taxed our collective math skills. Imagine me, Steve and my mom trying to calculate, cut, figure angles and get it level and you can be grateful you weren't there that weekend.

However, it has turned out great, including the built-in speakers

I'll try to get a picture of the fabulous countertops up soon. That is our last big project and it's so nice to have it done! Also, Steve's Christmas present will be available for viewing soon.
